Having faced several challenges, the company relied on new technological solutions to improve its operations in Europe. When the company came to Glartek, the challenge was presented as such: how can we increase the efficiency of our Autonomous Maintenance Processes (AMP)?
The key issue was decomposed into four different, but complementary, issues:
4,000,000 cars sold annually
40 worldwide plants and 13 logistics sites
Top 5 automotive leader in the European market
After assessing the challenges, and selecting Glartek’s comprehensive product, the solution was progressively implemented. Field workers are now connected, guaranteeing real-time information access. And, without any help during their first round, the process completion time was reduced.

Despite its massive global scale, the company’s maintenance routines were slowed down by complex information access and lengthy verification periods. Frontline workers struggled with paper-heavy processes that made it impossible for managers to track progress in real-time. This lack of control, combined with high training requirements, made it difficult to maintain the agility needed to prevent production downtime and ensure factory safety.
By implementing Glartek’s solution, the company connected its field workers to real-time information, allowing them to execute tasks with operational support and AR-enhanced tools. The number of verification checkpoints was optimized, and all data collection was fully digitized. Even workers with zero prior experience were able to complete tasks successfully, resulting in an 80% reduction in maintenance task length and a more flexible, agile workforce.
Glartek's product reduced our maintenance tasks length by 80%, which increased our plant's overall efficiency. Additionally, workers without any experience with the equipment still managed to execute processes, which made us gain more flexibility and agility.
