Lisbon, July 3, 2025 – Glartek, a leading provider of innovative EHS Connected Worker solutions for the manufacturing and asset-intensive industries, has successfully closed a €2 million investment round with the participation of Portugal Ventures and August One, a Singapore-based private investment firm fund.
Glartek’s platform helps companies like EDP, Bondalti, International Paper, SONAE, and Daimler improve Safety (e.g., risk management and control of work), Quality (e.g., audits and inspections), Learning and Development (e.g., training, skills and knowledge management), as well as Sustainability metrics and Employees’ Collaboration.
This new funding milestone marks a pivotal moment for Glartek, as the company intensifies its focus on delivering a high-impact digital transformation solution to large industrial players, with a special emphasis on process manufacturing and other asset-intensive sectors. Simultaneously, Glartek will further enhance its capabilities in the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) space, helping organizations improve safety compliance, reduce operational risks, and empower frontline teams.
The capital will be directed toward accelerating go-to-market efforts, strengthening customer acquisition, and enhancing the product roadmap to deliver greater value to clients through scalable and data-driven operational tools.
"This investment is a strong vote of confidence in our team, our technology, and our vision for the future of industry. Request a DemoFounded in 2017, Glartek develops AI-native EHSQ software built for frontline teams operating in high-risk industries, including process manufacturing, energy and utilities, specialty chemicals, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, and food and beverage. Built for the people who actually use it, Glartek connects field operators with EHS and Quality teams, so the whole organization works from the same data from the frontline to management. It's one native platform, built end-to-end rather than assembled from separate tools: incident management, risk assessment, audits, environmental monitoring, contractor compliance, and corrective actions share a single data model, one user experience, and one AI layer that runs inside daily operations. That AI pre-fills incident and near-miss investigations, predicts the potential for serious injuries and fatalities from leading indicators, and guides operators through safety-critical tasks.
