Secil identified an opportunity to enhance both efficiency and safety in their LOTOTO procedures during maintenance interventions by moving beyond manual, paper-based systems. By addressing challenges such as time-intensive steps, complex instructions, high training requirements, limited access to information, and a lack of real-time monitoring, Secil saw the potential to transform these limitations into drivers for a more streamlined, standardized, and effective solution.
Solution
The solution focused on three key improvements implemented in Secil’s Maceira-Liz plant: The digitalization of four LOTOTO processes and respective work instructions, centralization and digitalization of all key information to create an easily accessible knowledge base, and the implementation of a back office platform to help monitor processes and manage teams.
