In today’s competitive global markets, companies must adapt to dynamic changes. Industries face pressure to maintain product/service quality, operational flexibility, and a skilled workforce. This challenge intensifies in asset-intensive sectors, where equipment upkeep and data analysis are key for preventive and predictive maintenance. The SINATRA project employs technology like Augmented Reality and IoT to enhance maintenance processes, offering reliable data display and optimization in two main areas (1) Human-Machine Interactions, and (2) Recognition & Automatic reading Modules

PROJECT OVERVIEW

ADVANCING INDUSTRY THROUGH TECH ENHANCEMENT 

1 | Human Machine Interactions

The Human-Machine technological improvement covered by the SINATRA 2020 project is to simultaneously display data for two workers, through Augmented Reality. The goal is not only to display contextualized data but also to allow workers to interact with the data while visualizing it through a smartphone or tablet.

2 | Recognition & Automatic reading modules

The second part of the project scope is to create modules that automatically validate image recognition and quality to gather field evidence, automated lecture of pressure gauges to ensure accurate data, and reduce execution time.
